This is an original mug that uses photographs taken by Kazumoto Kazutsugu in various parts of Japan.

This photo was taken at Utsukushigahara Plateau in Nagano Prefecture.

The temperature was around minus 15 degrees, and I was shooting while my body and equipment seemed to freeze.

Early morning on New Year's Day.

Aiming for the first sunrise of the year, it starts moving in the middle of the night.

The trees, which had been pitch black until the night before, were covered in fog and frozen white.

I chose it because the contrast between the darkness of the sky and the whiteness of the hoarfrost is beautiful.

In this work, white glass is used to make the most of the contrast between darkness and plain wood.

Other works use glasses made of materials that match the photos, so please take a look.
